FOREVER BEAUTIFUL

Hi this is another layout I did, I pretty much winged it as I went, had no design in mind. I think is turned out more than I expected, the girls look so pretty and forever beautiful.  I wanted to do a lo that would be vintage but not dark or somber so did it with touches of pink and yellow, gambled on the colour scheme.  The flowers are white paper flowers that I sprayed with smooch and tattered angels. Then I added some stickles in "diamond" to give them that pop of sparkle, love the diamond stickle it works with almost any background.  Then used the new Tim Holts dies of the keyhole, key and hinge, in cardstock and grunge board, and painted it with a metalic bronze acrylic paint with some black soot distress ink at the edges to make them stand out.  The pearl flourishes that come out from the butterflies are just "liquid pearls" that I put on a pencil line I drew to keep the dots going in the right place, lol.

SOAR AND TAKE FLIGHT

Hi, this is a card I did, really started out as a birthday card, but left it pretty neutral for all occasion. I love this colour combo a sort of blue aqua and brown, I embossed with the folders of the cuttlebug, the poka-dot and the flourishes.  Used the Spellbinders Nestibles to make the scalloup shape in the second from the larges die and the second from the smallest, hope that made sense, lol.  The butterflies are a punch out from the Martha Stewart line and just did a brown on the bottom and blue on top, makes a great 3-D shadow effect doing it.  And a tiny little knotted ribbon on top, gave up trying to do a pretty bow, for some reason just wouldnt come out, lol.

SIMPLY FOREVER

Hi, well like I wrote this is a tribute to my late aunt (titi) Awilda.  She died of cancer about six to seven years ago, the picture was taken sixteen years ago on my little cousins birthday, her son. She was so happy and proud of him, her only son after two girls.

Well here this is my version a a scraplift I did of the very talented and admired Gabrielle Pollacco's layout titled "BEAUTIFUL",which you can find at her blog www.gabriellepollacco.blogspot.com/ what a l/o. I dont neccesarly scraplift to its entirety, just use some general ideas and make it my own, but what a layout, lol, I just had to literally copy it, at least to its majority, with a few twist and turns. So the credits go completly to Gabrielle.....!!!

This layout was not so simple, at least not for me, lol, the ribbon part is very easy, Gabrielle shows on her blog how to do it, its just punching some holes on the paper and passing the ribbon through, how geniuous. I the biggest change from here original is the little "inchi twichis" the small square pp that I used to make that quilt look. I just could for the life of me find my round cutter so I remember seeing this style around alot of the small quilted patches and decided the space was just right.  Some on wrote about measurements, I really dont measure anything, lol, sorry, I literally eyeballed everything, and since I distressed the edges of the little papers the uneveness doesnt show must.  Worked to my advantage.

MOTHER 01

Hi, well, I just love, love, love these colours, how many of you ladies have done a card that in the process you say, "yeah", I tried this colour combo before, but added brown to it and it wasnt what I expected, and just left it, but then went back to it and said "these colours rock, what am I doing wrong" so I just took out the brown, yay, lol. 

Here I used basic light green cardstock for the base and just layered, used the cuttlebug poka-dots folder and on top of the pp used the new flourish folder and for the strip under the flower, used again another embossing folder strip.

Flowers are from the cricut cartridge "George basic shapes" and a small little ribbon flower in the center.

The title and flourish below it is from the wonderful "Heritage" cartridge from cricut.

MOTHER 01

Hi, thanks for visiting, well this card was so easy to do.  Just got some real light biege card stock, made the base for the card and found in my cardstock stash, this awesome light blue sort of aqua colour (thought I finished them out, its my favorite) and had to find some pp for it. And whala! first paper I see is this great biege and blue with green pattern on it, just clicked for me.

Used here for the embossing the cuttlebug folder, I think its the new flourish one but pardon me for not being sure.  Then just cut out a strip of pattern paper for the center and another smaller piece or the same blue background paper thats embossed.  The small blue strip is also embossed, with the cuttlebug folder strips, there so awesome, cant see it much because of the letter but I added some stickles in Diamond to give it that pop, since it would be behind the letters

The title or fonts is from the cricut cartridge "Heritage", love it its so awesome, so many shapes and styles, must have for you ladies, definately. Did a small little bow on top with ribbon flower I found and put a brad through it so it would stay in place.  And to top it all off, some liquid pearls in yellow to give it that finiall garbo.

Untitled

Hi, well this layout is untitled because I just went insane with the details and forgot to leave space for the title, lol. Has that ever happened to anyone else???  Here I just did some paper tearing, well alot, lol, and on the light blue I tore and inked the edges with some dark blue, love the way it makes it look like if it was deeper and its actually on the pink. Did some faux stitching to the borders and added some ribbon that looks like vines to give it more green. Added the fence because of the flowers. Whats new that I've done is the wires the leaves had this wire stem and instead of cutting it off I just twisted it and left it to give it that detail.

TIP, when you want to give that extra shine and sparkel to something just pearl mist it, the're alot of product out in the market that come in mister bottles and its a must buy, I used it here on the flower, there just white prima flowers that I mist and inked and whala!!! so buy those little bottles you won't regret it, take care thanks for stopping, any questions just email me or leave a comment, bye!!!

Hi ladies, well this is a lo I did for a local challenge here in Puerto Rico.  Here I embossed, stamped, distressed, inked galor, lol, and some masking with the Tim Holtz clock mask.  Used also Tim Holtz's screw brads which I love.
